Botanical Art, issued in 2016, is a Forever stamp issue. Vintage flower illustrations drawn from American nursery catalogs create a colorful botanical collection. The designs feature details from catalogs published between 1891 and 1912, bringing the character of historic garden artwork to letters and greeting cards.
Mailing use
Each Forever stamp has a postage value equal to the current USPS First-Class Mail domestic 1-ounce letter rate, even when rates change. One stamp covers a standard machinable domestic letter weighing up to 1 ounce. Heavier letters, nonmachinable envelopes, large envelopes and international mail require additional postage.
